This is a GORGEOUS vintage San Carlin for Saks Fifth Avenue evening dress with lavish beading and sequins. Brand: San Carlin of Baton Rouge. Size 6. This is a couture quality gown - the workmanship and construction is amazing. Dark green. Velvet bodice Duchesse satin skirt Lace applique, hand sewn beading and sequin embellishment. Shoulder pads. Long sleeves. The left one is velvet with lace and beadwork at the hem. The right sleeve is all lace, lined, in a floral design, heavily beaded and sequined. The skirt is fitted at the top, flared to the bottom. The skirt hangs SO PERFECTLY - it has a satin lining with a triple row of horsehair braid to hold the skirt out, More horsehair braid on skirt reverse. Back zip Near mint condition.
