Vintage 90s Velvet Cape Dress Veronique Branquinho Draped Knee-Length Dress

Black velvet knee-length formal dress from Veronique Branquinho. This is a rayon/silk blend super soft and slinky velvet, unlined. Round neckline with a pleated ribbon detail. This pulls on over the head with no closure. Wide, batwing style sleeves that go all the way to the hem. Body of the dress is more fitted as there is stitching lines down the sides. So no side seams, but fitted with a line of stitching. Italian size 40 and while it looks like it is loose and would fit many sizes - I think it fits like a S/M. Shown on a S/M and its a little tight in the hips on me. Sides are open but closed where the stitching lines are at the sides. Hits around the knee on me - I'm 5'6". Excellent condition. #12
