1960's Heavy Satin dress with hand applied rhinestone encrusted neckline and cuffs. The dress is labelled “Mardi Gras”. It looks to be custom made. I was told by the lady I bought it from that it was worn to one of the presidential inaugurations during the 1960’s. The dress is very heavy due to all the beading and rhinestones. A fabulous piece of costume history!
