Beautiful Victorian ca 1890’s Black Silk Faille Bodice w Beading SM

This beautiful Victorian bodice is made from black silk faille. It has covered buttons in front, 1 needs to be sewn on. It’s trimmed with pretty black seed bead appliques. It’s lined in a check cotton, the waist tape needs a hook and eye. Wear on the top edge of the collar and a few small rubbed spots on the shoulder of the sleeve. It measures 32 inches around the bust, across the back shoulder is 11, waist is 23 1/2 and it’s about 19 inches long from the shoulder to center front point. Thank you for looking at my auction. The sleeves end in cuffs beautifully decorated with lace. The back of the nightgown is a robe. The back is very beautiful, constructed from several layers of lace, with a wide frill at the hem. The item is in good condition. The seamstress spent many hours on the handiwork. The product is quite intricate, with an abundance of lace; lingerie of this quality is rare.
