Vintage 1940s pink dress with beading on the sleeves. It has a very unique style I have not seen before and may be maternity. MEASUREMENTS (approximate): Bust - 36" Waist - 25" up to 31 1/2"** Hips - 35" Length - 45 1/2" Sleeve (shoulder seam to end of cuff) - 25 **the material can be tied to make the waist adjustable. The mannequin's waist is 26 1/2" and it looks good on her. It could probably go smaller than 25" as well (I wasn't sure how small would look too small). This dress has a really interesting construction. There is quite a bit of extra material at the waist that can be looped around and tied. Maternity dresses were NOT subject to rationing, so therefore companies could create some really beautiful pieces and they did try to market them to all women; not just pregnant women. There is lovely beaded designs on the sleeves - a few may be missing beads (nothing too obvious or detracting). Snaps at the waist. The material seems like a rayon blend? Note: the best representation of color is in the full body pictures on the mannequin (the close up pictures make it look lighter and duller). AS-IS. Fair condition, but it does have flaws. The dress has some light overall grayish discoloration (you can see the discoloration under the arms and on the collar area). There is a small tear in the front. Some staining along the shoulders (probably from improper storage on a metal hanger). The skirt has a stain on the front (almost a straight line). A few scattered tiny specks. The back has the start of a small hole near the fancy seams at the waist - there is also a bit of staining underneath that area. The bottom hem has some uneven stitching. Somewhat delicate material, so you must be careful if you decide to wear it. See photos for condition. A note on vintage clothing: I am not the original owner of these items, therefore I cannot guarantee their history. I am a non-smoker myself, but can't say the garment has never been around cigarette smoke or moth balls. While I would never list an item I find to have an offensive odor, I cannot ensure buyers (especially those very sensitive to odors) will feel the same as smell is subjective. I DO COMBINE SHIPPING! I tried to have it set up to automatically combine shipping costs, but that doesn't always work. If you feel it is not correctly combining shipping, please write in the order notes "combine shipping" or something of that nature when you order (not as a separate message). The note in the order flags it for me so it is easier for me to keep track and refund accordingly. I know there should be a simpler way of doing this, but I haven't figured it out, so this is my best option at the moment. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: I must declare FULL VALUE on customs forms. This means you may have to pay customs fees upon arrival. Listing and template services provided by inkFrog
