We opened 2 armoires that haven’t been used since the 1940’s. We found Aunt Lucy’s dresses and hats. This is one of Aunt Lucy’s handmade sleeveless housedresses. It’s handmade of a cotton blend, unlined.. Fabric seems strong. No holes, rips or stains. Sleeveless, large brown buttons down the front, belted, inside snap bra loops, two front pockets. Beautiful blue and purple floral pattern. We found lots of patterns and sewing items in the house, so this must be a pattern made dress. We think it’s a size XL , but please check all measurements carefully. Please do not expect perfection on clothing of this age, we do our best to describe, but may miss something. We hand washed and hung to dry. This is a true vintage, worn item, and may show some signs of wear consistent with it’s age.
