KILLER vintage 1950’s linen belted and pleated shirtdress in checkered red and blue, by Gigi Young of New York. Sublime midcentury fashion, beautifully tailored in high-quality, fluid linen, with fully lined skirt, button front with loop-and-small-button enclosure at top, three-quarter cuffed sleeves with single buttons, zippered back. The three buttons to front are decorative and not operable. In PRISTINE condition, never worn, fresh as a daisy. Museum-worthy midcentury fashion. Gigi Young was a sister label to Suzy Perette, and made dresses only from the 1950’s to 1966.
