This is a folk-artsy 100% alpaca hand knitted sweater – probably a tourist souvenir… Marked: 100% alpaca, Producto Exportacion. Most of these were made in Peru. It has a 60’s / 70’s / hippie vibe. Very soft, with a brushed texture, almost like angora. Vibrand cobalt blue. Knitted bands with geometric design in red, olive green, black and medium gray blue. Front slit has lace up twisted yarn cord, with tassle ends. Long knitted-in raglan sleeves with contrast border at cuff. Knitted contrast band at hem. In excellent vintage condition – no signs of having been used/worn. Very nice! Clean and ready to wear. From a smoke-free home.
